Guide to Week 2 of The Open and Friday Night Lights!
What a fantastic Week 1 of the CrossFit Open! The workout was great, the energy was high, and there was lots of fun to be had.
Whether you joined us for the workout during group class or at Friday Night Lights, thanks for participating and for coming out to support one another!

Remember, whether you are doing the workout at Friday Night Lights, or Saturday or Sunday morning we HIGHLY encourage you to check out this weekly dose of Friday evening fun.
Each week the warm-up area is filled with the equipment and specific warm up to get you ready for 18.2. As you all know we will be running WODs in heats through the night which means you’ll be responsible for warming yourself up but have no fear, a coach will be around to help answer any questions.
Thank you for volunteering! We couldn’t do this without you! We have a fantastic group of people who have taken and passed the judges course, and people volunteering there time to help! If you can help please speak to Ash and make him aware of the times you can help.
1. Watch the LIVE Announcement in the early hours of Friday morning to learn the workout. Go here to watch or come by the gym Friday morning, we’ll have it on!
2. Sign-up on Team Up for a heat time for Friday night. Heat times are posted on Team Up. If you can’t make Friday night, be sure to sign-up for another slot on Saturday or Sunday.
3. Show up on Friday. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your heat begins so you have plenty of time to change clothes, warm up and take in the atmosphere.
4. Do the workout!
5. Grab some food, relax and support everyone else.
This week we will have samples of the new Power Of Me Peanut bars for you to try and help re fuel after the workout. They will be in attendance with more samples in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for when they bring the full sample table.
